DNS Lookup

Live DNS records for any domain — A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT and SOA — with ASN, network range, country and reverse DNS enrichment, plus related subdomains from our index and WHOIS data.

Free — 5 requests per minute and 15 per day per IP address.

What this DNS lookup shows

This free tool performs a live DNS lookup against a domain and returns the records an attacker or a network defender would see first: the A records that point the domain at servers, MX records that route its email, NS records that delegate it, and TXT, CNAME, AAAA and SOA records.

Each resolved address is enriched with its autonomous system number (ASN), announced network range, country, and reverse DNS (PTR) hostname — the same context you would otherwise assemble from several separate lookups.

Related subdomains and WHOIS

Besides live records, the page shows up to 25 related subdomains discovered in the Primitive Host crawl index, and a registrar-level WHOIS summary (registrar, registration and expiry dates, domain status, DNSSEC). Registrant contact details are deliberately not published.

Frequently asked questions

Is the DNS lookup tool free?

Yes, completely free with no signup. Lookups are limited to 5 requests per minute and 15 per day per IP address to keep the tool fast for everyone.

Which DNS records does this tool query?

A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, NS, TXT and SOA records, queried live over DNS-over-TLS. A-record addresses are additionally enriched with ASN, network range, country and reverse DNS.

Where do the related subdomains come from?

From the Primitive Host crawl index of 280M+ domains — the first 25 hosts found for the queried domain. For complete per-TLD zone coverage, see the domain lists.
